Privacy Policy

Tyche Ventures LLC ("we," "our," or "us") built the Little Routines app (the "App") as a free application with optional premium features. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

1. Age Requirement

The App is intended for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers (or with parent/guardian supervision where required by local law). The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Children should only use the App under direct adult supervision.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.

All data you enter in the App — including child profiles, names, ages, routines, tasks, progress, stars, and rewards — is stored locally on your device only. We have no access to this data. We do not have servers that receive, store, or process your information.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our App is designed to help parents and caregivers create daily routines for children. While the App stores information about children (names, ages, avatars), this information is:

Stored only on the user's device
Never transmitted to us or any third party
Never used for advertising, tracking, or profiling
Fully under the parent/guardian's control and can be deleted at any time

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and applicable privacy laws worldwide. Since we do not collect any data from children or adults, no parental consent mechanisms are required.

4. Kid Mode

The App includes a "Kid Mode" feature designed for children to interact with directly under parental supervision. In Kid Mode:

Children complete routine tasks by tapping checkmarks
No personal data is collected or transmitted
All progress and star data is stored locally on the device
Parents control Kid Mode access via tap-and-hold or PIN exit methods

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional premium subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Storage and Security

All App data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data is protected by:

Your device's passcode/biometric security (Face ID, Touch ID)
Apple's built-in data encryption (Data Protection)
The App does not create any user accounts or cloud backups

If you delete the App, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.

7. Data Breach Notification

Because all data is stored locally on your device and we do not operate servers or databases that store user information, the risk of a data breach from our systems is effectively zero. In the unlikely event that a vulnerability in the App is discovered that could compromise locally stored data, we will promptly disclose the issue via an App update and on our website, and provide guidance on how to protect your information.

8. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage, behavior, location, or any other activity within the App. We do not display advertisements. We do not use cookies. We do not create user profiles.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with third parties. No data leaves your device through the App. We will never sell your data, and we have never sold user data.

10. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full and complete control:

Access: All your data is visible within the App at all times
Correction: You can edit any information at any time
Deletion: You can delete individual records, use "Clear All Data" in Settings, or uninstall the App to remove all data permanently
Portability: Your data exists on your device and is accessible through the App

For California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Since we collect no personal information and sell no data, these rights are inherently satisfied.

For EU/EEA residents: Under the GDPR, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Since all data is local to your device and we process no personal data, these rights are inherently satisfied.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
