Terms of use.

1. Using TallyKeeps

TallyKeeps is a local scorekeeping and game-night organization tool provided by Tyche Ventures LLC. These terms apply to its use, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the app. TallyKeeps is not a wagering service, payment processor, tournament referee or guarantee of accurate or fair results.

2. Apple licensing and purchases

Use is also subject to the applicable license and usage rules presented by Apple. The Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies to App Store apps when no custom license is supplied. TestFlight access is governed by Apple’s testing terms and can expire or end. These app-specific terms do not override the applicable Apple license or rights that cannot legally be waived.

The public release is planned as a one-time paid download, with no subscription, in-app purchase or free trial. The App Store displays the applicable price and taxes before purchase. Apple handles purchases and refund requests under its terms and applicable law. A purchase includes the app’s current features, subject to its documented storage limits; it is not a promise that every future product or feature will be free. TestFlight access does not establish a paid App Store entitlement.

3. Scores, guides and standings

You are responsible for entering and checking scores, choosing the correct scoring method, applying rules and deciding when a game is finished. Guides cover described scoring variants, not every edition or house rule, and are not automatic game-rule engines. Standings reflect only the records saved on the device; they are not verified online rankings or a measure of skill across all games.

Game names identify compatible scorekeeping contexts. Their owners retain their trademarks and game rights; inclusion does not imply affiliation or endorsement. You must obtain any games or materials needed for play separately.

4. Your content and other people

You retain your rights in names, photos, notes and other content you add. You are responsible for having the permission needed to store or share other people’s information and for respecting intellectual-property and privacy rights. Do not use the app for unlawful purposes or harassment.

Review messages, recipients and destinations before sharing. The app does not send invitations or results automatically, confirm attendance, or control recipients’ copies.

5. Local storage and preservation

Records are local. There is no developer-operated account recovery, cloud synchronization or editable archive export in the app. Sharing result text is not an editable backup. App deletion, device failure, incompatible older versions and storage limits can affect access. Keep important records separately and review your device backup settings; we cannot retrieve your local games remotely.

The support page states current limits. Purchasing the app does not remove those limits or guarantee unlimited or permanent storage. Individual deletions require confirmation and cannot be undone. See the privacy policy for selected photos, contacts, support and Apple diagnostics.

6. Support and third parties

Tyche Ventures LLC, not Apple, provides app support as required by applicable law. Contact support@tycheventuresllc.com. Apple, linked rules publishers, email services and sharing destinations operate under their own terms. We do not control their availability or retained copies.

7. Disclaimers and responsibilities

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as is and as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free records, fitness for a particular competition or recovery of lost information. Do not rely on it as the sole record for consequential decisions or money owed.

To the extent permitted by law, Tyche Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use or inability to use the app, including lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, liabilities or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for fraud or willful misconduct.

8. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms as features or requirements change and provide notice where required. You may stop using the app at any time. California law applies to the extent permitted by law without depriving consumers of mandatory protections where they live. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted. Contact the support address above with questions.
