SetHarbor help

Support

Guidance for the first-release workflow: properties, exact pieces, field moves, returns, local data, CSV export, and Studio.

  • SetHarbor is coming soon
  • No Tyche account required
  • Support by email

How can we help?

Start with the workflow and troubleshooting notes below. If a problem continues after SetHarbor is available, send the app version, iOS or iPadOS version, device model, and the steps that led to the issue.

Email support

Describe what you were trying to do, what you expected, and what happened. Remove property access details, client information, inventory lists, and other confidential content unless it is necessary to investigate.

This is SetHarbor's official support contact. Include “SetHarbor” in the subject line so the message reaches the correct product queue.

Getting started

1. Create the workspace

Add the business or workspace label and the primary storage location used for inventory operations.

2. Add inventory

Create an inventory record with its internal ID, description, ownership and lifecycle details, starting location and condition, and an optional identity photo.

3. Plan a property

Create the property, dates, rooms, and relevant access context, then reserve the exact pieces intended for each room.

4. Run the field task

Use the relevant pull, load, install, destage, return, move, receive, or audit workflow. Scan an internal QR label or enter the item ID manually.

5. Resolve exceptions

Review unexpected identity, route, location, or condition information before continuing. Keep the real physical state—not the intended state—as the source for the correction.

6. Return and reconcile

Receive returning pieces, inspect condition, confirm the next physical location, and review the recorded movement history.

Internal QR labels and item IDs

What kind of code does SetHarbor scan?

SetHarbor reads opaque internal QR labels associated with records in your workspace. It is not a retail-product barcode database. A scan does not look up public product information or identify a piece with AI.

What if the camera is unavailable?

Enter the item ID manually. Camera access is optional. If you want to change access later, open iOS or iPadOS Settings, find SetHarbor, and review Camera permission.

Why is a label not recognized?

Check that the entire internal QR label is visible, the lens is clean, lighting is adequate, and the label belongs to the current workspace. If the label is damaged or the scan still fails, use the printed item ID.

Field work and exceptions

Can a task be paused?

Yes. SetHarbor saves progress for supported field tasks so you can leave and resume the task from its recorded point.

What should I do when SetHarbor shows an exception?

Stop and verify the physical item, its internal label, the planned route, current location, and condition. Choose the resolution that matches what is physically true. Do not change a record merely to clear the warning.

Does the app guarantee an item is present or safe to move?

No. SetHarbor records what authorized users enter or scan. Personnel remain responsible for physical verification, safe handling, load security, property access, and appropriate condition inspection.

Evaluation, Studio, and StoreKit

What is included in evaluation?

Evaluation has no time limit and supports one active project and up to 100 active inventory records.

What does Studio add?

Studio unlocks more active projects and more active inventory records. It is offered as optional monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple.

Where is the price?

Apple StoreKit displays the current localized price, billing period, renewal terms, and any offer your Apple Account is eligible to receive before you confirm.

What happens if Studio ends?

Your existing records and active work remain accessible. SetHarbor can prevent only net-new expansion above the evaluation allowance until Studio is active again.

How do I restore?

Open SetHarbor's Studio screen and choose Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase. A valid entitlement must be verified by Apple.

How do I manage or cancel?

Use Manage Subscription in SetHarbor or open the subscription settings for your Apple Account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to prevent renewal. Deleting SetHarbor does not cancel a subscription.

Apple controls payment, renewal, offer eligibility, and refunds. Read the full billing and cancellation terms.

Inventory CSV export

How does export work?

An authorized owner initiates the inventory CSV, reviews the generated file, and chooses a destination through the system share sheet. SetHarbor does not send the file automatically.

What if I close the share sheet?

Closing the share sheet means the export was canceled and no destination was selected. Your SetHarbor records remain unchanged; start the export again when you are ready.

Does the CSV include everything?

No. It is a supported inventory export, not a representation that every project, task, note, photo, exception, or movement-history field will appear. Review the file before relying on it or sharing it.

Local data and permissions

Where is the workspace stored?

Projects, inventory, locations, conditions, notes, and movement history are stored in SetHarbor's local app container. SetHarbor does not require a Tyche account and does not operate a cloud team-sync or remote workspace-recovery service.

When is a connection needed?

Core operational workflows can work offline. Internet access is needed for Apple StoreKit to load subscription products, complete or restore a purchase, manage a subscription, or verify entitlement status. A destination you choose may also require a connection to receive an exported CSV.

How are photos used?

An optional camera or photo-library selection can add an identity image to an inventory record. The saved app copy remains local and is not sent to an outside AI service. Change permission in system Settings at any time.

Can support recover local records?

No. Support cannot remotely see or retrieve your SetHarbor workspace. Removing the app normally removes its local container from that device. Keep exported files secure and delete copies at their destinations when no longer needed.

Troubleshooting

Subscription products are not loading

Confirm the device is online, the App Store is available, and the correct Apple Account is signed in. Reopen the Studio screen. If you previously purchased Studio, use Restore Purchases. If the issue continues, include the exact on-screen message in a support email.

I reached an active limit

Review the active project and inventory counts. Complete or make work inactive using the appropriate lifecycle control, or activate Studio to expand active capacity. Existing records should remain available for review.

What belongs in a bug or crash report?

Include the SetHarbor version, iOS or iPadOS version, device model, the workflow and step, what you expected, what happened, the exact error text, and whether it happens again after reopening the App. Do not include property access credentials or confidential client information.
