Privacy Policy

What stays in the local workspace, when SetHarbor connects to Apple, and what happens only when you choose to export or contact support.

Tyche Ventures LLC ("Tyche Ventures," "we," "us," or "our") develops SetHarbor. This policy explains SetHarbor's data practices. It should be read together with the SetHarbor Terms of Use and the Tyche Ventures general Privacy Policy. This app-specific policy controls where it is more specific.

Local workspace

Operational records and chosen identity photos are stored in SetHarbor's local app container.

No tracking layer

SetHarbor has no ads, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking and does not create a Tyche account.

Optional media choices

Camera permission is requested only when you choose a feature that needs it. Apple's system photo picker shares only the image you select, and manual item-ID entry remains available.

Deliberate connections

Apple handles StoreKit. An inventory CSV leaves SetHarbor only when an owner initiates an export and chooses a destination.

1. Who this policy covers

SetHarbor is intended for adults using an iPhone or iPad to organize home-staging inventory operations. It is not directed to children, and Tyche Ventures does not knowingly collect personal information from children through SetHarbor.

2. Information stored locally

SetHarbor can store information you enter or create, including workspace and business labels, warehouses or other locations, properties, rooms, project dates, access notes, inventory identifiers and descriptions, ownership and lifecycle details, planned reservations, task progress, physical location, availability, custody, condition, exceptions, notes, and movement history.

You may also choose an identity photo for an inventory record. These records and the app's copy of a chosen photo are stored in SetHarbor's local app container. The current first-release design does not automatically transmit this workspace to a Tyche Ventures server.

3. Camera and photo permissions

Internal QR labels

With camera permission, SetHarbor can read an opaque internal QR label used by your workspace. Camera frames are processed for that scan on the device and are not sent to Tyche Ventures. If you do not grant camera access, you can enter an item ID manually.

Identity photos

With camera permission, you can capture a photo that helps identify an inventory item. You can instead choose an image through Apple's system photo picker, which shares the item you select without granting SetHarbor broad library access. SetHarbor keeps its saved copy with local app data and does not analyze it with an outside AI service. You can change camera permission at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings.

4. Network connections and outside services

Core planning, inventory, field-task, return, search, and review workflows can operate without a network connection. The following narrow cases can use another service:

  • Apple StoreKit: SetHarbor contacts Apple to request subscription products, display localized prices and terms, complete a purchase, restore purchases, and verify entitlement status. Apple processes the Apple Account, billing, transaction, and eligibility information under Apple's Privacy Policy. Tyche Ventures does not receive your payment-card number or Apple Account password.
  • Destinations you choose: When you export a CSV or otherwise use a system sharing interface, the selected destination receives the file or content under that destination's terms and privacy practices.
  • Support email: Your email provider and ours process a message you choose to send. Section 6 explains the information we receive.

5. Owner-initiated CSV export

An authorized owner can ask SetHarbor to create an inventory CSV, review it, and choose a destination through the system share sheet. SetHarbor does not send that CSV automatically. After a file leaves the app, its recipient, storage provider, or other destination controls the copy it receives. Review the file before sharing because it can contain operational information.

6. Support communications

If you email support@tycheventuresllc.com, we receive the address, message, attachments, and technical details you choose to provide. We use them to respond, investigate, maintain security, and keep necessary business records. Do not send inventory lists, property access details, keys or alarm information, client information, or other confidential material unless it is necessary for the support request.

7. Analytics, advertising, tracking, and sale

SetHarbor does not include third-party advertising, analytics SDKs, or technology for tracking you across other companies' apps or websites. Tyche Ventures does not sell or rent your SetHarbor workspace records.

8. Retention and deletion

Local SetHarbor records remain in the app until you edit or delete them with available app controls or remove the app. Removing SetHarbor normally removes its local container from that device. Copies that you exported or shared remain at the destination until you delete them there. Tyche Ventures does not operate a remote workspace-recovery service and generally cannot retrieve local records for you.

Support messages may be retained as reasonably necessary to answer the request, investigate a problem, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete support information we control, subject to lawful retention needs.

9. Security

SetHarbor relies on Apple's app isolation and device security for its local container. Protect the device with a passcode, keep iOS or iPadOS current, limit access to unlocked devices, and review export destinations. No storage method is completely secure, and Tyche Ventures cannot secure a device, file, account, or recipient outside its control.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

  • Access and correction: View and edit workspace information using SetHarbor's record controls.
  • Deletion: Delete records where an app control is available or remove the app to remove its local container from that device.
  • Permissions: Change camera access in system Settings. A system photo-picker choice shares only the image you select.
  • Portability: Initiate and review an inventory CSV export, then choose where it goes.
  • StoreKit: Manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account and use Restore Purchases in SetHarbor.

Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction and context. To ask about personal information Tyche Ventures may control because you contacted support, email us. Apple or an export destination must address information it controls.

11. International processing

Tyche Ventures is based in the United States. If you contact support from another country, your message may be processed in the United States and by the email providers involved. Apple and any export destination may process data in the locations described in their own policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as SetHarbor, applicable law, or our practices change. We will change the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. The policy posted for the version you use describes the current app-specific practice.
