Privacy Policy — Tyche Ventures LLC

Tyche Ventures LLC ("we," "our," or "us") develops mobile applications for households and small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information across all of our apps (collectively, the "Apps"). Each App may also have its own app-specific privacy policy with additional details.

1. Age Requirement

Our Apps are intended for adults—including parents, guardians, caregivers, homeowners, and business users—who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction). Our Apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

2. Information We Handle

Our Apps do not automatically upload your locally stored app records to a Tyche Ventures LLC account or cloud database.

Records you enter in an App—such as profiles, names, preferences, photos, home records, and documents—are generally stored in that App's local container. We can receive information you deliberately send us, such as a support email or attachment. Some optional or app-functional features also send limited inputs to outside services; Section 5 and each app-specific privacy policy describe those cases.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Some of our Apps are designed to help parents and caregivers manage activities for children. Any information about children entered into the Apps is:

Stored locally by default and not automatically transmitted to Tyche Ventures LLC; device backups, exports, and sharing can create additional copies
Not automatically transmitted to Tyche Ventures LLC
Never used for advertising, tracking, or profiling
Fully under the parent/guardian's control and can be deleted at any time

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should review the app-specific policy and decide what information is appropriate to enter, export, or send through any optional outside service.

4. Device Permissions

Some of our Apps may request access to device features such as the camera, photo library, or notifications for specific functionality (for example, barcode scanning, taking photos, document scanning, or reminders). Content selected or captured through those interfaces is kept in the App unless you choose to export or share it or an app-specific policy expressly describes a network-dependent feature. You can revoke permissions through your device's Settings.

5. Third-Party Services

Some of our Apps may interact with third-party services for specific features (e.g., product databases for barcode lookups, affiliate product links). When this occurs:

Only the minimum data necessary for the feature is sent (e.g., a barcode number)
The outside provider may also receive normal request metadata, such as an IP address, under its own policy
Each app-specific privacy policy lists the exact third-party services used

An app-specific feature may use a narrow relay operated by or for Tyche Ventures LLC before contacting an outside provider. Such a relay can process the feature input and ordinary request metadata and may create short-lived operational logs. The app-specific policy identifies the relay, purpose, and applicable retention details.

Apple App Store: In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Amazon Associates: Some Apps may contain links to products on Amazon.com using our affiliate tag. When you tap a product link, you are directed to Amazon, which receives ordinary browser, network, and—if you are signed in—account data under its own policy. Amazon may provide Tyche Ventures LLC with referral and commission reports; we do not receive your Amazon password or payment-card details. Amazon's privacy practices are governed by Amazon's Privacy Notice.

6. Data Storage and Security

Core App records are generally stored locally on your device using Apple's frameworks. Your data may be protected by:

Your device's passcode/biometric security (Face ID, Touch ID)
Apple's built-in data encryption (Data Protection)
No Tyche Ventures LLC app account or app-operated cloud-record service unless an app-specific policy says otherwise

Deleting an App normally removes its local app container. Copies you exported, shared, or included in a device or system backup may remain at those destinations until you delete them there.

7. Data Breach Notification

We do not operate a central Tyche database of automatically uploaded App records. No storage or transmission method is risk-free, however. Device compromise, insecure exports, support email, system backups, and outside services can create separate risks. If we discover a material App vulnerability, we will address and communicate it as appropriate.

8. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

We do not embed third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs in our Apps. App-specific policies identify any analytics behavior or outside service that applies. An outside website or API may use logs, cookies, or aggregate analytics under its own policy even when an App does not store or resend its cookies.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your App records. Information can leave your device when:

An App sends the minimum feature input to a third-party API or narrow Tyche-operated relay (for example, a barcode or recall-search term); the provider or relay may also process normal technical request metadata
Content you explicitly choose to share (e.g., exporting a document, sharing via email or AirDrop)

10. Your Rights

You can control the records stored in an App:

Access: All your data is visible within the App at all times
Correction: You can edit any information at any time
Deletion: You can delete individual records where the App provides that control. Uninstalling an App normally removes its local container; exported, shared, support-email, or backup copies must be removed separately at their destination.
Portability: Where supported, you can export your data (e.g., as PDF files)

11. Health, Safety, and Nutritional Disclaimer

Some of our Apps involve meal planning, food tracking, home maintenance, or child routines. These Apps are planning and organizational tools only and do not provide medical, nutritional, safety, or professional advice. Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and safety of any information used in connection with our Apps and should consult qualified professionals for health, dietary, or safety decisions.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
